This is one of the most shocking things I've ever read.  Apparently that guy is actually useful.

Ha.  Minnesota is awesome.

Last week it was 78 degrees in St. Cloud.  One of the great things about it was when I drove by Lake George that very warm Monday, it was still covered in ice.

Where, oh where, can you see weather like that?  78 degrees and ice on the lake!

Today while riding the bus to work, there was a woman who was talking to her groceries. She kept muttering about prices and how it was a good deal. She was taking items, ones that did not match her words (i.e. her talking about the price of a box of rice and pulling out Kellogg's cornflakes), and staring at them while she spoke. It amazes me how lazy some folks are. I'm taking the bus quite a bit to and from downtown St. Cloud and to and from home to school. People will wait at the transit station upwards to 30 minutes and take my bus to go across the river (the bridge is one block north and one block east of that transit station) and then get off RIGHT ACROSS THE RIVER ( Read more... )

Well, this blog is sad to report that Hooters opened without any sort of problem or glitch. nezbabe and I, along with a friend, drove to the Grand Opening gala at the new restaurant only to find ourselves, and what seemed to be thousands of them, among 18-30's. Not only that but a local station, "Rockin' 101!" had their publicity SUV parked out front. ( Read more... )

Uh-oh. The University Chronicle has their staff members writing about the upcoming Hooter's opening... =D The flames could very well be getting bigger and brighter.

edit: The St. Cloud Times also ran a little story about the opening of the restaurant here. I think that over the weekend things may start to heat up.
